This is where you will find the latest information about what is going on, and when and where it is happening. You can also view photos and video performances of my students and Alexander Peskanov.

If you are the parent or guardian of a prospective student, or a prospective adult student, please browse the site for more specific information about my studio and my teaching methodology and view performances of my students. Feel free to call me for additional information, or you can complete a registration form, and I will contact you.

My goal is to provide each student with a personalized, meaningful and enjoyable experience learning to play the piano in a very musical and expressive way. You can find out more about me here.

Announcements

Congratulations to my students, Emily CaiEvan Dickson and Hannah Fantin, who are among the winners of the competition and will be performing in the following concerts.

The purpose of the Brooklyn Music Teachers Guild (BMTG) competition is to promote the music of great composers, both immortal and living. Fifteen jurors from around the world served as competition judges for the 140 international competitors, and the categories included solo, duet (four hands) and trio (six hands). There were two rounds in the competition. In the first round competitors submitted videos of two performances of pieces of immortal composers. Competitors selected for the second round submitted videos of two performances of contemporary composers. The combined scores from both rounds were used to determine the competitor’s placement in each category.
